THE GREEN CLEAN UP

SNT officers have been working closely with the Ealing Council team to address the ongoing issues behind the shops, which had become a significant concern for local residents and businesses. The area had been affected by the accumulation of litter, waste, and general environmental neglect over a prolonged period, impacting both the appearance of the location and the wider community.

As part of a joint initiative, Ealing Council officers and SNT officers carried out a number of site visits to the shops and the rear service areas. During these visits, engagement was conducted with shop owners and businesses to raise awareness of their responsibilities regarding waste disposal and maintaining a clean environment. The partnership approach has enabled both agencies to identify problem areas, address concerns, and take positive steps towards improving the condition of the location.

A substantial amount of litter and waste has now been removed, resulting in a noticeable improvement to the area. The clean-up operation has helped restore the environment behind the shops and has been positively received by members of the local community.

SNT officers will continue to work alongside Ealing Council and carry out regular high-visibility patrols in the area. Ongoing monitoring and engagement with businesses will take place to ensure standards are maintained and to help prevent the issue from reoccurring. Any further concerns identified will be addressed promptly through joint working, with the aim of keeping the area clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
